This page covers the practical things: the kitchen, the Wi-Fi, where the supermarket is, what to do with the BBQ. It's the answer to "wait, how does the X work?" before you have to ask.

Heads up: Google sometimes routes guests up the small back roads onto the hill, which leads to the back of the building (no entrance there). The button below is a corrected pin; it sends you to "Puntica 16," which is the right spot.

Teja is the first-floor apartment on the left side. Climb the external stairs to reach it.

Wi-Fi

Wi-Fi.

Network: Bobinac Garden. The password is on a card inside the apartment, plus a QR code on the wall. Point your phone camera at it and it'll connect automatically.

Check-in & check-out

Arriving and leaving.

Check-in from 3:00 PM. Check-out by 10:00 AM.

Someone will always be here to greet you. Please message us via the Airbnb app when you're on the ferry or crossing the Pag bridge so we can be ready. If you're arriving late, just let us know in advance.

The apartment uses a physical key for now (digital lock coming soon). We'll hand it over on arrival.

Parking

Parking.

One free parking spot per apartment, on the property. There's a metal gate that slides to the side. Pull it open when arriving or leaving with a car, and please close it behind you.

Coming with two cars? Let us know in advance. We'll try to arrange a second free spot but can't promise it.

Kitchen

The kitchen.

Yours to use. Everything is catalogued, so please treat it as you would your own. Wear and tear is fine; we only follow up under the Host Guarantee if items go missing.

Rinsing plates, taking the bins out, wiping up spills: all of that helps the housekeepers, who work hard between stays. Thank you in advance.

The balcony

The balcony.

The covered balcony off the apartment is exclusively yours: round dining set, sheer curtains for the afternoon, garden visible through the opening. The garden below is shared; there's a common dining table out there too.

Air conditioning

Air conditioning.

Use it freely while you're in the apartment. When you go out, please switch it off. The rooms cool down quickly when you're back, and the planet (and our electricity bill) will thank you.

Hot water

Hot water.

Electric boiler. We'll heat the water before you arrive. There's an electric switch to turn the heating back on if needed; takes about 30 minutes from cold.

Barbecue

The garden BBQ is shared between both apartments. Tools available on request. To avoid double-booking with the other apartment, please tell us in advance when you'd like to use it, and we'll keep it free for you.

Pets & smoking

Pets & smoking.

No pets at Teja (the stairs and first-floor layout aren't a good fit). If you're travelling with a pet, Apartment Romana on the ground floor welcomes one.

Smoking is permitted but please do it on the balcony, not inside. Both for the rest of the apartment and for the next guests, who notice the smell.

Children

Children.

Very welcome. We have a high chair you can use; just ask. Bear in mind the first-floor stairs when planning with very small children.

Getting around

Getting around.

A bus can stop right in front of the apartment to take you to Novalja or Zrće, though service is inconsistent, so don't rely on it. A car or taxi is the safer plan. Scooter and e-bike rentals are also available in town.

Uber operates in the area but coverage is unreliable; you may not find a driver. Local private taxis exist but be cautious, as some quote astronomical fees. Ask us if you need a recommendation; we have a trusted local driver who offers our guests a discount.

The beach

The beach.

The closest beach is 50 metres away. Cross the road, turn right, and you'll see a public path leading down to the sea. These public paths are rare around here.

Planjka beach (the famous one) is an 800-metre walk down the seaside promenade. About 10 minutes on foot.

Shops & supermarkets

Shops.

Closest grocery: turn right out of the apartment, walk 900 m. Studenac supermarket. Open 7 AM to 1 PM and 4 PM to 9 PM. Closed 1 to 4 PM and all day Sunday.

Larger shopping: Hiper Novalis, about a 6-minute drive into Novalja.

House rules

House rules.

1. Crime is very low here, but still, don't leave bicycles, toys, or valuables out in the garden or on the balcony overnight.
2. Tied-up rubbish goes in the dumpster in the yard, not loose in the garden.
3. Quiet hours are 11 PM to 7 AM. No loud music or noise that would carry to the neighbours during these hours.
4. You're responsible for the behaviour of any guests you bring along; same rules apply.
5. Please don't do anything inside the apartment that creates a fire or health hazard.
6. If something needs urgent repair, we'll need access to the apartment. We'll always give as much advance notice as possible.
