About us
Bobinac Garden is a family-run pair of apartments on the quiet side of Stara Novalja, two minutes from the sea. We've been welcoming guests since 2017. There's no front desk. When you arrive, one of us is here to greet you.
The place
Most of what you'll see growing here, Doroteja planted by hand. Lavender, rosemary, olive, fig, pomegranate, vines along the covered dining area. It's a working Dalmatian garden, not a manicured one. Herbs you can pinch, shade you can sit under, a yard you can wake up into.
Both apartments open onto the same garden. Two outdoor dining areas, a BBQ grill, enclosed parking in front. Quiet hours run 11pm to 7am.

The hosts
We're a mother-and-daughter team. Doroteja handles the garden, the kitchens, and the day-to-day care of the property. Romana handles guests, messages, and the website you're reading right now.
Between us we speak Croatian, English, German, and Hungarian. Message us on Airbnb on your way over, from the ferry or the Pag bridge, and we'll meet you at the door.
The apartments
Both sleep five, both have three bedrooms and a kitchen that opens to the outdoors. The difference is which floor you wake up on, and whether you're bringing a dog.

Both apartments are listed on Airbnb. You book there, you pay there, you message us there. Same family, same welcome. We just don't run a separate direct-booking system.
You're covered by Airbnb's guarantees: refund policy, host verification, secure payments. We get the same protection on our end.

No key boxes, no app to download. One of us meets you, shows you the apartment, and answers questions.
Where
Stara Novalja sits in a sheltered bay on the north of the island. The town of Novalja and the Zrće party beaches are about 10 minutes away by car. Close enough to visit, far enough that the noise stays there.
The nearest sandy beach is Planjka, ten minutes on foot along the seaside promenade. The garden gate is roughly 800 metres past it.

Very nice hosts — they greeted us every day with a smile and were so accommodating with all our questions. The apartment is near the beach, in a quiet part of town. We used the kitchen and terrace a lot for our meals. Everything was in perfect order. Thank you.
A wonderful holiday has come to an end! It was a beautiful stay with such attentive hosts (Miroslav and family) who always had an ear for us, no matter what we asked. He even handled the communication for us when booking a trial dive for my granddaughter. As helpful as anyone could hope for. If we ever come back to Croatia, we already know where we'll be staying 😉 Happy to come back any time — we really enjoyed our time here. Thank you for the lovely stay 🙏
