If you are into crowdy places, this the place for you. A very nice sandy beach with few bars and various attractions.

Tip: Don't walk to it on the road. Take the beach route, it is nicer.
This beach is a hidden gem, with its beautiful crystal-clear sea and lovely sea entrances. Parking is 5€/day until 16:00, and 2.5€ after 16:00.
Tip: parking may be free after 17:00.
Located right at the sea, with prices still not being too high, and great qualty.
This is a lovely beach bar, a few minutes of walking from the apartment, to the right side. The best way to get it is to take a 12 min. walk along the beach. It is possible to get here by car as well, however there are no good parking options here.
Original Napolitana Pizza. If you are into Pizza, this place has probably the best one on the whole island. Worth a visit.

Harder to reach, but very nice. There is a free parking nearby and a caffe bar.
Tip: you can take a boat taxi or a SUP to beach Beritnica from here.
Reachable only by a longer hike or by the boat. Nice scenery.
While further away from Stara Novalja, it is worth visiting it.

Very nice hosts — they greeted us every day with a smile and were so accommodating with all our questions. The apartment is near the beach, in a quiet part of town. We used the kitchen and terrace a lot for our meals. Everything was in perfect order. Thank you.
A wonderful holiday has come to an end! It was a beautiful stay with such attentive hosts (Miroslav and family) who always had an ear for us, no matter what we asked. He even handled the communication for us when booking a trial dive for my granddaughter. As helpful as anyone could hope for. If we ever come back to Croatia, we already know where we'll be staying 😉 Happy to come back any time — we really enjoyed our time here. Thank you for the lovely stay 🙏
